We just couldn't wait to try them and thought we'd share our tips on the best way to do them so here goes.....

Step 1

File your nails to a nice rounded or square style tip. Push your cuticle back using the handy free cuticle stick included when you buy nail foils from No Sacrifice. You need your cuticle pushing back so that you do not get the foils stuck to them as this will enable the foils to peel. Then buff your nail surface to create a non shiny surface which will allow the foils to get maximum hold.

Step 2

thoroughly clean all the residue and debre  from your nails using a non greasy nail varnish remover.

Step 3

Open your Nail Foils Pack and size the pre cut foils to your nails, if you need to trim any to size just trim with scissors.

Step 4

Pick your first foil, peel off from the plastic backing and heat with your hairdryer for a couple of seconds (not too hot or your foils will shrivel!

Place on to your nail from the side and smooth down, your foil will be warm enough to be pliable and stretch to gain a perfect fit and smooth surface.

Step 5

Once you have your foil in place and smooth, heat with your hairdryer for another second or 2.

Step 6

Trim the end of the foil using nail scissors or nail clippers. (You can do this before you reheat but it is totally up to you)

Money Saver Tip!! - Save the left over foil and use for your toes! You should have plenty off cuts to use depending on what length your fingernails are

Step 7

File the end at a 45 degree angle with a small grain/crystal nail file just to make sure the ends are fully sealed to your nail. You could even lightly coat with a nail hardener varnish for a maximum seal!

Repeat the process on all of your nails and Voila! You will have star studded nails in no time!

The nitty gritty...

The pros...

No drying time

No Smudging (we scrubbed the oven and opened a can with a ringpull an hour after application!)

Fabulous designs

Easy to do your other hand after the first hand  (yep you just know your going to smudge at least 1 while painting your other hand with nail varnish!)

Long Lasting

The Cons...

More expensive than nail varnish (bargain at No Sacrifice at only £2.99 and more than enough to reuse the offcuts and the 6 leftover)

You need the right tools (hairdryer, cuticle stick-free with each pack! Nail scissors)

More time needed to apply (i'd say it works out about the same as you'd wait for drying time when using polish)

In our eyes though these are well worth it! We think we may be slightly addicted! Who wouldn't be though when your nails end up looking this good!
